iPhone and iPod touch

This information will help you configure your iPhone or iPod touch device to collect Karoo email.

Please note: the Karoo Internet Helpdesk cannot support you with collecting your email anywhere other than on a computer. We can check you have the correct email settings provided you know how to navigate your device.

If you're setting up an email account for the first time on iPhone or iPod touch, simply touch the Mail icon on the Home screen. If you're adding an additional account with software version 2.0 or later, touch the Settings icon on the Home screen, select Mail, Contacts, Calendars and select Add Account and thenOther. The following information will help you setup your email account.

Your iPhone or iPod Touch will by default be configured to leave a copy of your email on the mail server. This means that although you have downloaded your email to your iPhone or iPod Touch device, it will still be avaiable to download on your computer.
