When I’m out of the office

It’s a fact of business life that having information on demand when you’re away from the office has become a key requirement. Apart from making you and your business more flexible in responding to requests from customers or colleagues quickly, information on the move can help resolve issues remotely and keep informed about what your competitors are doing.

Once the domain of senior executives, devices like Blackberry are now accepted as very much an every day business tool.. With a Blackberry it’s possible to stay in touch via email wherever there’s mobile coverage, using a simple keypad not much bigger than the kind you’d find on a normal mobile.

They also have a full colour screen, camera and media player.

The main criteria to think about when deciding whether Blackberry is appropriate for your business is whether you are using an email application such as Microsoft Exchange, in which case there may be some integration work required. Hosted Sharepoint
