Ofcom gives the green light for KC’s bundled services
The communications industry regulator Ofcom has today lifted the regulatory controls that have prevented KC from offering customers bundled services. Under the previous regulatory restrictions, local households and businesses were unable to benefit from the extra value that combined telephony, broadband and other services can offer.
Now KC customers who take a package of two or more services will benefit from a single bill and gain even more value for their money than if they bought the services separately.
Sean Royce, KC’s Commercial and Finance Director said: “We recognise the benefits that bundled products and services will bring to our customers and so we have been in talks with Ofcom for some time. We are delighted that the regulator has now given us approval to go ahead.
“KC already offers Britain’s best value call packages and combined with our broadband service, the new bundled products will give consumers lower prices and even better value for money.
“Now that we’ve been given approval, we intend to launch bundled services for both businesses and consumers within the next few months.”
Full details about how people can benefit from the new bundled services from KC will be available soon.
