New iPhone service makes KC Colour Pages even easier to use

iPhone with Colour Pages application

KC has launched a free iPhone application to make it easy for people to find and contact Hull and East Yorkshire businesses.

KC’s online directory www.colourpages.comlists more than 8,000 local businesses and the new application means iPhone users can find a company’s contact details and directions to their premises easily.

The contact details can then be stored on the iPhone or emailed to someone else.

The application is available to download free of charge from the Apple store and has already received some great reviews, describing it as ‘intuitive’ and ‘amazing’.

Steve Allbones, general manager of KC’s Colour Pages, says KC developed the application to make www.colourpages.com even more useful to a wider range of people.

He said: “With more and more people using iPhones to access the web we wanted to make our online Colour Pages directory as easy to use as we could.

“The new app we’ve developed is great for iPhone users as it lets them find local businesses and services instantly and uses the phone’s GPS to bring back results relevant to their location.

“Of course it’s great for www.colourpages.comadvertisers too, as it’s another way for potential customers to find them.”

Owner of local plumbing business and Colour Pages advertiser Julian McCann of Aquashield Plumbing believes the iPhone app is a good idea. He said: “Businesses are looking for as many ways as possible to promote themselves, so any improvements that make it easier for customers to find my contact details are very welcome.”
