KC is supporting one of Yorkshire’s leading business showcases, the Yorkshire Mafia Conference, for the second year running.

Established in 2008, The Yorkshire Mafia is a business networking group whose members include businesses and public sector organisations of all sizes and across all sectors,  who  share the common goal of boosting enterprise and collaboration in the region.

The first Yorkshire Mafia Conference last year attracted 1,300 delegates and more than 70 exhibitors, and featured speakers including Freeserve founder Ajaz Ahmed and Lord Kirkham CVO, chairman and founder of furniture giant DFS.

The 2012 conference has been extended to run over two days on 21 and 22 March at the Royal Armouries in Leeds. It will offer delegates  the chance to trade with 160 exhibitors and attend seminars and panel sessions where leading business figures and entrepreneurs will share their insights.

Mark Conway, Director of Business Services at KC,  said: “Following the success of last year’s event we’re proud once again to be part of an event  that showcases the skills, expertise and success of Yorkshire businesses.

“We’ll be at the conference to expand our horizons, learn from other organisations and share our knowledge of how IT and communications can help businesses compete more effectively. As a major business based in the region we want to expand our networks and engage with other likeminded companies who want to explore new and better ways of working during difficult times.”

Founder of The Yorkshire Mafia, Geoff Shepherd, said: “We couldn’t be happier to have KC on board for a second year. The company has a very similar view to our own and this makes them an ideal principal partner for the event.”

Pre-registrations for the conference are already taking place at www.theyorkshiremafiaconference.com.
