KC shortlisted for two national marketing awards
Local communications provider KC has been shortlisted for two prestigious national marketing awards for the development and launch of its updated brand earlier this year.
KC has been shortlisted in the Best Re-branding Exercise category of the CorpComms Awards 2010, which recognise excellence in corporate communications.
It has also been named as a finalist in the Yorkshire Company of the Year category of the Marketing Industry Network Awards (MiN), in which entrants were asked to demonstrate the communications strategies they have employed and difficulties they have overcome to make changes to their business.
KC’s entries focused not just on the development of KC’s updated brand identity but also on the new ways of working it has introduced to improve the overall experience it delivers to its customers.
Nick Thompson, Director of Consumer and Publishing Services at KC, said: “We have been on a journey over the last 18 months to refresh our brand.
“Being shortlisted for these awards reflects that we’ve done more than just taken on a new look – we’ve listened to and acknowledged what our customers and employees have said about how we can provide better service, and we’ve adopted new behaviours and values that will help us improve.
“We’ve involved hundreds of our people in this project, which is far from over – our aim is to continue to develop and improve by putting our customers at the heart of everything we do so that the communities we serve are proud that we’re part of local life.”
The MiN awards will take place on Thursday 18 November in Manchester, and the CorpComms awards will be held on Wednesday 24 November in London.
"My sincere gratitude and appreciation for the swift results you achieved"
